The Secret of Being a Real Estate Agent

I'm a real estate agent.

And one thing I noticed is, us real estate agents, we have the exact same tools. The methods we take to sell your home, to buy your home, are nearly identical. Our wording is different, our jokes vary, but the process - it is the same.

We are the same machine wrapped in different texture.

It doesn't matter if you choose he 30 year veteran or the new guy, your home is going on the MLS, a sign in your yard, professional pictures will be taken, and there will be an open house. As long as the agent KNOWS the process, the process is the same.

So why do some succeed more than others?

Personality. It is and will always be based upon this. If the client likes you, and likes what you are saying, you are the guy. You have to be confident. You have to be likable. You have to know what you are doing. This is what get's the sale.
